Built in honor of San Anton Abad, as the Villa de Alcántara was finally conquered Muslims on January 17, 1213, the feast of that saint.
The door to the Franciscan shield representing the five wounds of Christ surrounded by income that order, is topped by the royal crown of Henry IV. It has a single nave and sacristy. The work is of simple construction, with arches and vaults. In two sizes, a Saint Anthony of Padua and the Christ of the Spanish School.
