SYNAGOGUE

SYNAGOGUE

Singular dated between the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries served Temple prayer for the Jewish community established in 1492 to build the village.

It is quadrangular following the examples of Sephardic synagogues, with four central columns, which in turn form a ring to deliver the bimah or platform from which the Torah reading is done. These columns are connected by arches that support the roof of the timber adjustment.
