HOSPITAL OF SAINT NICHOLAS OF BARI (S. XVI-XIX)

Former abode of rest, healing and spiritual retreat destinated now for a rest of the old people.

It was founded by Cardinal Iñigo Lopez de Mendoza in 1535. Located outside the walls, was dedicated to the aid of poor and pilgrims. It has a cover showing a semicircular arch shaped by thick voussoirs carved in stone, the whole being framed by a frame, as a drip cap by two Tuscan columns.
