CONVENT OF THE MOTHER OF GOD (S. XVI-XVII)

CONVENT OF THE MOTHER OF GOD (S. XVI-XVII)

From the monastic silence that cast the old convent walls to the good handmade pastries of the religious cuisine.

Founded in the thirteenth century, the present Convent of the Mother of God was rebuilt maybe in the late fifteenth century by closing a portion of the side of the street Monjas, on which stands the Church built on thick masonry walls where there are considerable glazed windows and a beautiful Gothic portal.
