PEDESTRIAN PATH OF THE SERRA DE S. PAULO - AB 1

This trail begins at the cemetery of Castelo de Vide and carries pedestrians and cyclists to cross the Serra de S. Paulo, overlooking the village. It is a scenic route where you have the opportunity to discover the flora and fauna of this protected area, in addition to visiting the historical monuments that are scattered along the trail.

During the ascent we see some agricultural land surrounding Castelo de Vide on the south side, and now the hillside through pine forests (Pinuspinaster), the visitor is taken to see an old link geological fault and a stretch of medieval road, between Portalegre and Castelo de Vide.
