FOUNTAIN OF GOLDSMITHS

Amid Square Capitan Fernando Salgueiro Maia, is this fountain, whose volumetric scale has locked in this square where the main church is located, the church of San Juan and palatial buildings.

The name of the fountain comes from the fact that this location had been a goldsmith shop. This fountain is of white marble and is formed by four semicircular tanks, on which a four-sided central pillar sits in the middle of each is a gesture with copper gutter. Above is a molding and cornices with a pedestal and a pot once had a metal pineapple.
