CHURCH OF SANTA MARGARITA

The church of Santa Margarita, for its historic architectural style seems to have been built in the sixteenth century. This church is located in the town of Póvoa and Meadas by the road linking the Meada and oriented toward the West.

The church of Santa Margarita is composed of two parts: ship / chancel and sacristy. The nave is rectangular, and is divided into four sections defined by rectangular pillars which also support a ceiling that is trapezoidal, recently built, but respecting the original stroke. On the south wall the main door topped by a rectangular window on the east side communicates with the main chapel is opened.
