CHURCH OF SAN PEDRO

The church of San Pedro would have been built in the sixteenth century. This church is located about 350 m south of Castelo de Vide in EN246-1, at a place called Martinho.

Its structure consists of a set of two bodies: ship / chapel and sacristy / housing. The nave is rectangular, the roof consists of beams resting on the spine and on the side walls. On a strip of wood bar sits. Leaning on the south wall there is a stone pulpit, in the north there is a pile of holy water in granite.
