Gastronomic event which aims to recover the tradition of eating ”snails” by the Feast of San Pedro de Alcántara

”With the first rains of autumn the first snails that once well washed and cooked are caught mixed with rich” entomatá ”where the cloves, cumin and chili are essential ingredients.This event organized by the town of Alcantara since 2013, takes place in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento where over a thousand rations are distributed snails.”
