TEJO INTERNATIONAL NATURAL PARK It is an enclave of high ecological value located west of the province of Cáceres. Declared Tagus International Natural Park since July 2006 that spans 25,088 ha. between the Alcántara Bridge and Dam Cedillo, including the lake ”La Cantera”. Alcántara contributes 37% of total acres that covers the territory of the park.
