CHURCH OF ST. PETER OF ALCANTARA Church made in the seventeenth century in the birthplace of San Pedro de Alcántara site to commemorate his beatification. The construction was financed by the people of Alcántara. The church has a single nave with three sections. It is covered with barrel vaults with lunettes and reinforced by arches, the head is closed by a hemispherical dome on pendentives.
